What is it?
Text is a form or writing that you read or create. There are multiple types of text, and different types of text have different purposes and have different characteristics. Since I will be a P.E. teacher there is not much text that will go into my class. Most of the info will be hands on and there will be little text involved in my class. Most of the text in my class will be consumed and created by myself as I create unit and lesson plans. This is an example of text because it is identifying and explaining my point of view.
